[Singapore] National University of Singapore – Culture Visit at Primakara University
Denpasar, May 21, 2024 – Primakara University warmly welcomed students and faculty from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in a cultural exchange event designed to foster cross-cultural understanding and academic collaboration. The event, held on Primakara’s campus, showcased the rich heritage of Balinese culture and introduced attendees to the intersection of tradition and modern innovation.

During their visit, NUS students had the unique opportunity to learn about and engage with Balinese customs firsthand. Guided by Primakara’s local experts, they participated in a traditional Kecak dance workshop, where they experienced the rhythm, energy, and storytelling that defines this iconic Balinese art form. Alongside the Kecak dance, the students also learned to create kwangen offerings, small, intricately crafted flower arrangements that hold spiritual significance in Balinese culture.

In addition to cultural immersion, the visit emphasized the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in modern business. Faculty from NUS hosted a workshop on “The Role of AI in Today’s Business Landscape,” exploring how companies can leverage AI to enhance efficiency, decision-making, and customer experience. This session sparked discussions among students and underscored the importance of staying ahead in a world increasingly shaped by digital transformation.
