[South Korea] Korean Center Global Network - Korea Entrepreneurship Society - Kyungnam University - Sangmyung University - Visiting Professors at Primakara University Denpasar, October 27, 2024 – Primakara University hosted a distinguished panel of visiting professors from leading South Korean universities and institutions as part of a collaborative exchange focused on entrepreneurship and education innovation. Professors from Kyungnam University, Sangmyung University, and Keimyung University shared their expertise with Primakara students and faculty, emphasizing industry-academic cooperation, innovative teaching methodologies, and the future of entrepreneurial education. Professor Park Eunju led the session with insights into Industry-Academic Cooperation in Korea, highlighting how universities and industries can build partnerships that drive research, support startups, and foster skilled graduates equipped for global markets. This session underscored the alignment between Primakara’s mission of technopreneurship and the Korean model of collaborative education. Professor Kang Jaegwan’s lecture on Ilmeori Education explored the South Korean approach to immersive and hands-on learning, promoting critical thinking and problem-solving as core skills for university students. Following this, Professor Park Jinhan introduced the Adventure Design Class Case, a unique class model that encourages students to embrace challenges and innovate through real-world projects. The visiting professors also shared best practices in entrepreneurship and design thinking. Professor Kim Hwakyung introduced Capstone Design, a program that empowers students to apply theoretical knowledge to practical projects, mirroring Primakara University’s emphasis on outcome-based learning. Additionally, Professor Kim Changone from Keimyung University conducted an Introduction to Design Thinking Camp, showcasing an immersive workshop model that nurtures creativity, collaboration, and human-centered design. Finally, Professor Choi Eunjung from Sangmyung University shared her expertise in Entrepreneurship in Korea, discussing the cultural and structural elements that have made South Korea a leader in global entrepreneurship. The session inspired Primakara’s future entrepreneurs, highlighting the importance of resilience, innovation, and adaptability. Primakara University is proud to strengthen ties with South Korean institutions, reinforcing its role as Bali’s premier IT and technopreneurship hub, and a bridge for international academic exchange in Southeast Asia.
