[South Korea] Kumoh National Institute of Technology & ICT Convergence Jeju, South Korea, October 15, 2024 – Two esteemed faculty members from Primakara University, Nengah Widya Utami, Head of the Accounting Information Systems Program, and Made Adi Paramartha Putra, Director of the Graduate School, successfully participated in the prestigious International Conference on Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Convergence held in Jeju, South Korea. Their acceptance into this conference underscores Primakara University’s commitment to contributing to global research and technological advancement.

At the conference, both lecturers presented their research on ICT’s transformative role in digital business and academic settings. Their participation also highlighted Primakara’s ongoing dedication to advancing knowledge in the field of information technology and its applications in various sectors, fostering an academic environment that blends research with real-world impact.

A significant outcome of this visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kumoh National Institute of Technology. This MoU aims to open pathways for collaboration in doctoral studies (Ph.D.), marking an important step in expanding academic opportunities for Primakara’s faculty and students. This partnership will enable deeper academic exchanges, collaborative research, and mutual support in areas such as ICT, digital business, and industry-relevant technological advancements.

This collaboration with Kumoh National Institute of Technology positions Primakara University as an increasingly prominent player in the international academic community, supporting its vision of becoming a global hub for technopreneurship and advanced studies in Southeast Asia
