Denpasar, Indonesia, April 9, 2025 – Primakara University conducted an international workshop on Cyber Crime and Cyber Security, attended by students from the United Kingdom and facilitated by Think Pacific. The activity provided a meaningful academic engagement that combined cross-cultural interaction with a critical topic in today’s digital ecosystem: cyber threats and the importance of cyber security awareness. The workshop was delivered by Primakara University lecturer I Gede Putu Krisna Juliharta, who highlighted the evolving landscape of cyber crime and emphasized why cyber security education is increasingly essential for students and digital citizens. The session discussed common cyber threats, typical attack patterns, and the potential impacts on personal data, privacy, and organizational systems, reinforcing the need for preventive behavior and responsible technology use. Through an interactive learning approach, participants gained practical insight into basic cyber hygiene, risk awareness, and steps to reduce exposure to digital threats.
